What Jeep BCM programming does

The BCM manages lighting, locks, immobilizer, and body electronics and is coded to your vehicle. We program or clone supported data to your replacement BCM. Eligibility varies by vehicle, module, and part number.

  • Installing a used/replacement BCM that needs coding

How it works

  1. Send or schedule — mail your module in, or book eligible on-site service in the Sacramento area.
  2. Program / clone — supported data is programmed or cloned to your module.
  3. Check — the module is checked following programming.
  4. Return — mail-in modules are returned for installation. Typical turnaround is 2–3 business days.

Important

Programming and cloning eligibility depends on the vehicle, module, and part number, and not all modules or faults can be resolved by programming. Some units may require additional diagnosis or repair. Send your year, make, model, and part number so we can confirm compatibility before service.
