Is your airbag light illuminated, or have your airbags deployed? If your diagnostic tool shows "crash data stored" or the dealership recommends a new module, opting for an airbag module reset at Module Repair Lab is a wise decision. Even minor accidents can trigger electronic codes, and our reset services effectively clear all crash codes within the airbag control module, turning off the airbag light. Concerned about warning lights? We can also turn off your vehicle's airbag light. Opting for a reset at Module Repair Lab, instead of purchasing used or new modules, ensures that the module is electronically registered to your vehicle's VIN, saving you time and money while avoiding the costly reprogramming associated with dealership services.
Airbag lights that illuminate after an accident are commonplace, triggering associated codes that may cause seat belts to lock. In such cases, an airbag module reset becomes imperative. Even if your vehicle wasn't in an accident but the airbag light is on, our skilled technicians at Module Repair Lab can diagnose and resolve the issue.

Did your vehicle's airbag light illuminate unexpectedly? For more details, please check the FAQ section.
Wondering why your airbag light is on? If your vehicle was involved in an accident, Module Repair Lab can help by resetting your airbag module through our Reset & Return service. For vehicles with accident history, we recommend sending the original module to us for a reset to avoid additional trips to the dealer for coding. It's worth noting that late-model cars often store a partial VIN in the airbag control module.
Curious about the sudden illumination of your airbag light? If your airbag light turned on without an accident, there might be an issue with the airbag system computer or a faulty component within the airbag system. If your vehicle hasn't been in an accident, we suggest having your module scanned by a body shop tech before mailing it to us.
Undecided on whether to send the airbag module for a reset or opt for a used one? Our technicians recommend resetting your vehicle's airbag module if it has been in an accident. This minimizes the need for additional programming, and upon proper installation, the airbag light will turn off. Upon receiving the module back from us, it is factory reset and in like-new condition, free from all hard codes and soft codes. If the airbag light persists after correct reinstallation, there may be an issue with connections, airbags, seat belts, clock spring, and/or impact sensors, resulting in a soft code stored in the module that identifies the problem. Ensure all SRS components and connections are in good condition.
Concerned about replacement airbag modules? No need to worry—Module Repair Lab does not sell replacement airbag computer modules. We specialize in resetting airbag control modules for vehicles that have been in accidents.

FAQs
No. Because we are repairing your cluster and not replacing it, there is no programming required.
Repairs have a 2-3 day turn around. Transit times are typically 2-3 days each way, so you can plan on about a week to week and a half total.
Purchase the repair service you are requesting on our website. Then, print a copy of your order and send it in with the cluster to the address stated on our site. This information is also found under the “Instructions” tab on our main menu.
You can pay on the website with PayPal or a credit card or you can send the cluster in with your information and we will contact you for a credit card after the repairs have been performed.
While we cannot recommend it, most vehicles can be driven without the cluster installed.
